In 1993, Mr. Liu Jun began making chipboards with self-made equipment, and became of the first plywood maker in Linyi region. In the year 2000, Hongda Wood Company, the predecessor of Mingzhu was officially established with 1,500 US dollars and 45 workers producing polyboards. By 2003, Hongda evolved into Mingzhu Wood Company with a new focus on making laminated high-end plywood, the same year, all its products were sold to buyers in the United States of America, making Mingzhu one of the earliest and the largest exporters of plywood to the US.
In 2005, Mingzhu purchased the first UV production line in Linyi and became the only factory that’s equipped to make UV coating plywood. Mingzhu further upgraded its production sites and replaced some of its machines with state-of-the-art equipment in 2019, to improve both capacities as well as qualities of its plywood productions. By end of 2021, Mingzhu has produced and sold over 20,000 containers of various plywood since its establishment.
Mingzhu now works with most of the well-known brands and buyers in China for its domestic markets, and exports to North America, Latin America, EU, Middle East and North Africa markets.
It is certified with FSC CoC; CARTB P2 TSCA compliant; CE certified; and JAS certification in process. Its current capacity is 150 40-foot container loads per month.
